IMPACT is a county wide charity working across Telford & Wrekin and Shropshire with people who are concerned about their own or someone else's drinking. |
The Community Substance Misuse Service (CSMS) is the first point of contact in Telford & Wrekin for anybody who is concerned about their drug or alcohol use. The CSMS provides advice and information about drugs, assessment, harm reduction and needle exchange services, as well as one to one support. Safer Nights Campaign
Telford & Wrekin Safer & Stronger Communities Partnership have launched a Safer Nights programme. The programme links activities, interventions and marketing campaigns across the Partnership to prevent and raise awareness of alcohol related violent crime, and tackle ASB in the night time economy.

The Bar-Code campaign provides some key safety messages and advice to help you BE SAFE – BE SENSIBLE whether you are out on the town, or celebrating a special day.

Sank.tuary
Friday 19th December 2008 sees the launch of Sanktuary which is a place to relax, to be calm, to be safe… to drink good coffee or a fresh smoothie, to eat brownies and other home baked cakes (all free - donations welcome)… to chill out, to phone a cab, to talk to someone.
Sanktuary is based in the community room at the back of Wellington Methodist church, next to the car park… follow the signs!
