| KNIFE CRIME INITIATIVE SUCCESSFUL IN TELFORD |
A hard hitting presentation aimed at educating young people in Telford & Wrekin about the dangers of knife crime has now been shown to over 700 pupils within secondary schools in the Borough. The presentation, which includes a short documentary showing three real life incidents where young people’s lives were taken during knife related incidents, is part of a Knife Crime Awareness Programme launched by Police and Youth Inclusion Officers in Telford. The programme has been put together in support of the Home Office’s drive to promote awareness of the dangers of knives to young people across the country. [Read more] |
