Local and national numbers have been included in the directory to provide you with as much help as possible.
White Ribbon Town
The Community Safety Team, working with many various services and partnerships have attended numerous local sporting events, held promotional campaigns in local colleges and the Telford Town Centre and displaying posters on the back of buses, taking our 5ft White Ribbon to everywhere we visited in order to gain pledges and promoting that domestic abuse should not be tolerated as well as a Council V Police football match. To date we have over 1800 pledges and still more to be entered. You can find further information out about the campaign and still pledge on the White Ribbon campaign website.
Crucial Crew
Crucial Crew is set to return this summer. After another successful year in 2015 we are pleased to say that Crucial Crew will be taking place again in 2016. AFC Telford are kindly hosting the event at AFC at no cost after we had to move from Buildwas Abbey where it had been held for 12 years. Crucial Crew is a 13 day event where all year 6 students have the opportunity to attend.
Partners from West Mercia Police, Shropshire Fire & Rescue Service, Telford & Wrekin Council, British Red Cross, Dogs Trust, Royal Life Saving Society and Western Power are all supporting on delivering key life skills and knowledge that aims to keep young people safe.
